Future-Proofing EVM: Regulatory-Compliant Token Standards
Initiative Period: September 2023
The Challenge: The EU’s Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCA) introduced unprecedented requirements for asset-referenced tokens (ARTs) and electronic money tokens (EMTs). Without standardised blockchain implementations, the industry faced fragmentation and compliance challenges that could undermine interoperability across the EVM ecosystem.
Technical Innovation: I proposed two complementary EIP proposals that extend ERC-20 to accommodate MiCA’s regulatory framework while preserving blockchain’s core principles of interoperability and composability.
The Asset-Referenced Token Standard addresses the unique requirements for tokens backed by multiple assets, introducing mechanisms for transparent reserve management and regulatory reporting without compromising decentralisation.
The Electronic Money Token Standard establishes the technical foundation for fully MiCA-compliant e-money tokens, drawing from our practical experience building EUROe.
Impact: These proposals provide the technical groundwork for the next generation of regulated DeFi, ensuring European compliance doesn’t fragment the global blockchain ecosystem.
ZeroSlip: Optimising AMM Efficiency for Equal-Asset Swaps
Development Period: January – February 2023
The Challenge: Traditional AMMs suffer from suboptimal pricing for assets of equal or near-equal value, creating unnecessary slippage and MEV opportunities. While building EUROe, I identified this as a critical inefficiency affecting stablecoin and wrapped asset trading.
Technical Innovation: ZeroSlip is a novel AMM design optimising for bot & aggregator volume through best in class zero price impact, zero slippage pricing and gas optimisation. It is primarily suitable only for equal asset swaps.
Technical Depth: The protocol implements a specific AMM model for equal-assets and incorporates novel just-in-time liquidity provisioning strategy that maintain capital efficiency while eliminating traditional AMM limitations.

DumpEX: Novel Market Mechanism for Distressed Digital Assets
Development Period: April 2023
The Challenge: The crypto market lacks efficient mechanisms for disposing of worthless tokens while maintaining discovery potential for assets that might regain value. Traditional markets either prohibit such trades or price them inefficiently.
Innovation: DumpEX implements a dual-mechanism approach: sellers can dispose of any token for a fixed minimal price (1 wei), while buyers participate in Dutch auctions for potentially valuable assets. This creates the first practical implementation of a “digital asset graveyard” with built-in resurrection mechanisms.
Technical Architecture:
- Immutable smart contracts deployed across multiple chains
- Dutch auction mechanics for price discovery
- Cross-chain compatibility for maximum market coverage

World of AI: AI Image Generation Through Blockchain
Development Period: August 2022 – August 2023
The Challenge: Early AI image generation tools like DALL-E required expensive credits, creating barriers to experimentation. I saw an opportunity to democratise access while exploring the intersection of AI and NFTs.
Technical Implementation: Built a comprehensive platform enabling on-chain prompt submission for AI-generated NFTs, integrating OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 with a full-stack blockchain solution including Solidity contracts, React frontend, Python processing pipeline, and distributed storage across IPFS and AWS.
Innovation Focus:
- On-chain prompt storage ensuring transparency and immutability
- Automated AI-to-NFT pipeline with quality assurance
- Scalable architecture supporting high-volume generation
- User experience optimisation reducing technical barriers
Strategic Conclusion: Discontinued due to overburdening regulatory & taxational challenges as a side project. The project successfully demonstrated technical feasibility.

CryptoWiki: Decentralised Knowledge Infrastructure
Development Period: October 2022 – August 2023
The Challenge: The crypto ecosystem lacked a comprehensive, unbiased knowledge base maintained through decentralised governance. Existing resources were either too basic or commercially biased.
Vision: Create a Wikipedia-style platform specifically for crypto topics, leveraging community governance and tokenised incentives to maintain content quality and neutrality.
Implementation: Developed the core platform architecture with POAP-based contribution rewards and community moderation systems.
